Pixllady Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick Review

Available at: Pixllady.com

Price: $1.99-$14.00 (Sample Size-Full Size)
Cruelty Free?: Yes
Vegan?: Yes (Also Paraben Free, Free of FD & C Dyes, Palm & Mineral Oil Free, Talc Free, and Silicone Free. Ingredients are listed at the bottom)
Finish: Matte
Application/Wand: The wand is a standard lipgloss/liquid lipstick wand. As far as the application, the product itself is this is thin and doesn’t feel like you are applying anything on your lips. Even though the product itself is thin, it doesn’t appear to be streaky (The shade “Carytown” swatches in a streaky manner, however the actual application on the lips is the same as the rest of the shades; excluding “Wicker Park” as it was the most pigmented and performed the best).
Scent: As far as scent there is a distinct scent. The closest thing I could compare it to was a cinnamon scented candle (Not cinnamon itself).
Feel/Comfort: The product doesn’t seem to completely dry down though it still gives a matte finish appearance (Lightly setting it with setting powder helped to make it a true matte and keep it in place longer). Feel wise, the product is very lightweight and comfortable. You may also notice that it just feels like you have oil on your lips, especially if you rub your lips together.
Does It Transfer/Smudge?: Yes, this product does transfer but I did not notice it smudging throughout the day.
How Long Does It Last?: For me they last me a couple of hours before I have to reapply the product, however it does last about an hour longer if I lightly set it.
Would I recommend?: If you don’t like a super matte finish, or you have get dry lips often but still love that matte lipstick look, yes I’d recommend these. If you’re someone who likes a true matte liquid lipstick, then maybe not, but you never know; you might end up liking it.
